Along the Andhra Pradesh coast, Kakinada SEZ Ltd is promoting the Kakinada Gateway Port development. The project is planned across 1,650 acres, with a focus on multi-cargo handling and deep-draft access.
The vision connects port development with the neighbouring industrial ecosystem, opening opportunities for processing, manufacturing, logistics and commerce.

The port’s planned infrastructure includes ample cargo yards, warehousing, systematic truck movement and cargo security. Access to roads, railways, airports and coastal routes is central to the development.
Its hinterland includes Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Karnataka.
